Why Boutique Tones for Helix
Only real gear. Every preset is matched to original analog equipment we own. We don't start from other presets or plugins: the reference is always the real amp, played through our own cabinets, microphones and studio outboard.
Made by players and engineers. Professional session players dial in and play the amps, sound engineers build and fine-tune the presets. The result sits in a mix the moment you load it.
Search less, play more. We select a small number of amps and a small number of tones per pack. Each one has a clear purpose, so you spend your time playing, not tweaking.
Official artist packs. Some packs are made together with the artists who own the sound, and every official pack is approved by the artist or brand behind it: BT Steve Lukather, BT Justin Derrico, BT Marco Sfogli, BT Eric Steckel, BT Ciro Manna MkII, and the official Mezzabarba packs.
How our Helix presets are made
Helix doesn't load third-party amp captures, and only Line 6 can add new amp models. So we start from the closest factory amp model, refine its parameters, and pair it with our Tone Match IRs: IRs built to reproduce the response of our reference profiles of the real amp. We then fine-tune the whole preset against the original rig. That's why the amp block shows a factory model: the sound comes from the combination of that model and our Tone Match IRs.
Snapshots, presets and HX Stomp
Depending on the pack, the sounds come as snapshots inside one preset, or as separate presets, one per tone, when a pack needs more amp blocks than a single preset can hold. The product page shows the exact layout for each device. On HX Stomp and HX Stomp XL we do our best to keep exactly the same snapshots as on the bigger units, spreading them over more presets when needed. In some cases their fewer snapshots and lower processing power make an identical layout impossible: the product page shows what each device gets.
What you get
Every Helix pack is an instant download: the presets and the IRs they use, in a ZIP file. Import the IRs first and the presets second, keeping the file names as they are: this way every preset finds its IRs automatically. Use the 48 kHz IRs, the native rate of Helix. One purchase covers the whole Helix family, from Floor to HX Stomp and Helix Native, and presets move freely between the plugin and your unit.

Frequently asked questions
Which Helix devices are compatible?
Our Helix packs work on Helix Floor, LT and Rack, on HX Stomp and HX Stomp XL, and on Helix Native. POD Go is not compatible with Helix presets, but our IR packs work on it. For Helix Stadium, choose the packs in our Helix Stadium collection.
Why does the amp block show a factory amp model?
Only Line 6 can add new amp models to Helix. We start from the closest factory model and pair it with our Tone Match IRs, which reproduce the response of the real amp we recorded. The sound comes from that combination, so the model name is only the starting point.
How do I import the packs?
Extract the ZIP first: dragging files straight out of the ZIP gives a "target area is incompatible" error. In HX Edit or Helix Native, import the IRs into the Impulses tab first, then the presets. Keep the file names as they are, so every preset finds its IRs. Our Helix Support Guide shows every step.
The IR block is empty or shows the wrong IR. What should I do?
The preset can't find its IR, usually because the presets were imported before the IRs or the file names changed. Delete the pack's presets, import the IRs, then import the presets again. If you still need it, the download area includes a table showing which IR goes in each preset.
Why do I get an "unrecognized models" error?
Your Helix firmware or HX Edit is older than the one used for the pack. Update both to the latest version, then import the IRs and the presets again.
Why does HX Stomp get more presets than Helix Floor?
We do our best to give HX Stomp and HX Stomp XL exactly the same snapshots as the bigger units, spreading them over more presets when needed. These units have fewer snapshots and less processing power, so in some cases an identical layout isn't possible. The product page shows the layout for each device.
Does it work on Helix Native?
Yes. One purchase covers the whole Helix family, Helix Native included, and you can share the same presets between the plugin and your unit.
Can I use your Helix presets on Helix Stadium?
Helix Stadium has its own versions of our packs, made for it: you'll find them in our Helix Stadium collection. We can't guarantee that standard Helix presets load and sound the same on Stadium.
Does my purchase include the other platforms?
Each purchase is for one platform, the one you choose on the product page. If you want the same pack for another platform too, write to us: you get it at 50% off.
Can I hear a pack before buying?
Yes. Every product page has audio and video demos, recorded by reamping the same DI tracks through the devices. We don't offer trials, and since these are digital files they can't be returned once downloaded, so take a listen to the demos and write to us if you are not sure which pack fits you.
Will my pack be updated?
When we update a pack, you receive an email and the update is free.
