We could have profiled this rig anywhere.

We flew it to Los Angeles instead. Sunset Sound has been running since 1958, and Led Zeppelin, Van Halen, Prince and The Doors all went to tape in these rooms.

We spent several days in there with Justin, profiling his own analog rig. Not a studio replica: the same heads and cabinets that go out on tour with P!nk and sit behind him on The Voice.

Every profile ran through Sunset's original analog console, the same desk used on the Van Halen records. Justin was in the room the whole time, playing, listening and approving. Nothing shipped that he had not signed off on.
