This pack is based on a Soldano© ASTRO-20, a 3-channels, 4-Galaxies head that combines authentic all-tube tone with features ideal for today’s modern guitarist.

ASTRO-20 is a straightforward, all-tube amplifier that is powered by two 6V6 power tubes and four 12AX7 pre-amp tubes. The Green Galaxy is a high-headroom circuit reminiscent of classic American combo amps. The Blue Galaxy ranges from bluesy cleans to fat and sparkly hard rock tones. The Purple Galaxy takes over where Blue leaves off, delivering higher gain and a tighter response. The Red Galaxy takes you on a journey starting from Soldano’s iconic lead tones to a new phenomenal high-gain universe.

This is the second tone pack I have purchased from Boutique Tones, and all I can say is WOW! I started watching YT videos on the Astro the moment they came out, and I was intrigued by this amp's versatility. The multiple "Galaxies" of this amp allow it to accommodate any music style, and I thought to myself . . . I WANT THIS AMP! With this being said, the 2K price tag is a MAJOR speed bump. The first tone pack I purchased from Boutique Tones was the Bogner Ecstasy 101b, and I love it; it has been my leading tone, so when they released the BT Astro 20, it was a no-brainer. Let me say this . . . WOW! The Astro 20 is a KILLER! So versatile, and the captures are clean and expressive. If you want a tone pack that does not disappoint, do yourself a favor and snag the BT Astro 20, and you won’t regret it! I love the tone packs from Boutique Tones so much that I have contemplated getting the Mezzabarba MZERO Overdrive tone pack! Thank you, Boutique Tones!
